The summer fundraiser will feature patio fun at Park & Field on June 6th from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Presale tickets are available for $75 for those 24 and under and adults over the age of 25 can purchase tickets for $100. Donations can also be made on the website and currently all donations over $250 earn a free pair of the foundation’s limited editions socks with purchase.  All donations go directly towards helping young adults battling cancer.

The event will feature a silent auction with incredible prizes donated by local Chicagoland businesses and friends of the foundation. The silent auction is live online at celebratingevan.cbo.io and will include access to many exclusive items like dinner at Michelin-starred Galit, dinner for 2 with radio legend Terri Hemmert and choice of tickets to a private 93-XRT concert at Studio X, and tickets to Re:Set Concert’s sold out show featuring Boygenius. Funds raised will support research in the areas that affected Evan as a result of acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

As a board member of the organization, Ryan Hunter Bluestone speaks to the incredible work being done by the foundation in memory of his cousin saying, “Evan Gerstein was a fighter who was passionate about science. It is fitting that the foundation in Evan’s name aims to advance scientific research in the areas that most affected him, including more effective leukemia treatments, new ways to diagnose and treat fungal infections and patient care for teens and young adults with cancer.”

“We miss Evan every single day, and the organization is driven to continue the fight in his name and to garner as much support for young adults fighting leukemia as possible,” continued Ryan Bluestone.
